There's a swanky bakery opening in Kildare Village... here's what to expect
EARLIER TODAY, IT was announced that a rake of new shops and boutiques are set to open in Kildare Village in the coming weeks.
Among the new additions to the shopping outlet? Le Pain Quotidien, a swanky bakery-restaurant that has over 220 branches all over the world.
It describes itself as a “communal table” serving “simple, elegant boulangerie fare”.
Think of it as the Avoca of bread and pastries.

The inside might look a little something like this...
Here's a New York branch.

And here's a London branch.
So, what will they be serving?
A sample menu reveals that they tons of breakfast items (avocado on toast, waffles, eggs and the like) and even more pastries. (We have never had a cheese almond danish, but we desperately need to try one now.)
But they also have loads of salads, tartines, quiches and sharing plates.
So now.
